At the end of the war, France was literally littered with remains of combat, much German equipment had been abandoned, sometimes with slight damage, all possible material was gathered and entered into service, supported by parts found in the airfields, or that were manufactured in the country, since the Germans used the French industry to make their own components.
The planes were grouped into certain units, the Fw-190s were used for years, a few Me-109s were also assembled, but their engine was a problem, spare parts were no longer produced, as soon as the ones they found ran out, they were I take them back, as far as I know, there were few of them.
