Bf-110 RAF

The RAF captured a lot of German material, particularly during the Battle of Britain, but almost everything was damaged, downed on British territory, which in most cases only served to scrap and to use the aluminum of the aircraft, there were some exceptions, such as advanced navigation systems captured in a He-111 and a few intact aircraft mistakenly landed on the island, this is the case of a twin-engine Bf-100C fighter.

The plane did not offer a lot of knowledge, it was a already obsolete model that was easy prey to the Hurricanes, whether the Bf-110C proved to be a failure as a heavy long range fighter, could not be imposed in fighting the agile RAF fighters and suffered serious losses. The plane is used briefly for evaluation and a forgotten, his fate is unknown.

In 1944 the RAF was able to capture a Bf-110G, which proved to be much more interesting, because the road had specialized in night fighting, equipped with more advanced radars of the time, but that's another story.

The captured German aircraft were regularly repainted in RAF schemes with yellow belly, if used in the tests were receiving huge P wrapped in a circle on both sides of the fuselage. Unless they received an anonymous code in rear of the fuselage.
