F4U Corsair, Japan

The Corsair fought with the Japanese for years, however only one captured device is known, because there are photos, it is very possible that they will repair more than one, but the destruction of information at the end of the war, prevents knowing more.

The Corsair was captured in February 1945, and belongs to the USS Essex, apparently it made a forced landing, the plane was damaged, the control surfaces, a wing and the propeller, there are photos of mechanics working on it.

However, after the surrender, the Corsair was not found, it is not known what happened to it.

Lodela model, Lodela paint and old Marino, this is a temporary decoration, of a model that I bought assembled, but you're wrong, this is an F4U-1A and the captured one is a 1D, as soon as I buy one of these, I'll assemble it like this, this is just a proof of concept.
